The US IT giant chose the greater Lille area and the Euratechnologies business park as the Headquarter of its new services centre. The opening of the IBM Services Centre Lille from July 2013 will create 700 new jobs over a period of three to five years. According to Alain Bénichou, the President of IBM France, it was Lille’s “brimming scene and innovation” that made the difference. Working closely with local partners, IBM banks on the technological underpinning of the greater Lille area.
