Backed by Lille’s agency, the “made in Lille” networking group Grand Lille à Paris has a new team at the helm. It also just launched its new web site!
Founded almost 10 years ago, Grand Lille à Paris (GLAP)’s goal has not waivered: to bring together the men and women who support today’s business in the Lille region. With 4 events per year, topics addressed have evolved to tackle multiple disciplines while showcasing the Lille metro area’s many impressive projects.
Last year, GLAP members were led in a discussion by Pierre Coursières (President of Furet du Nord) about cultural economic perspectives, introduced to corporate environmental responsibility as examined by Thierry Landron (President of Meert), Olivier Oger (Managing Director of the EDHEC group) and Philippe Vasseur (President of Northen France’s Chamber of Commerce), and met at the Dutch ambassador’s Paris residence to learn more about the new Thalys Lille-Amsterdam rail line.
2015 starts a new beginning for the group: in exchange for a nominal membership fee (starting at 15€), you will have access to a collaborative members-only platform where you will be able to interact with others who are influential in the regional economic scene. Networking, educational opportunities, forward-looking sessions on business, cultural, political, economic and sports-related topics: a fabulous new program for the new year!
